Bob serves as Chief Revenue Officer at RunSafe Security, bringing over 30 years of experience in leading revenue growth, sales, and go-to-market strategy across cybersecurity and high-tech markets. He has a deep background in device security, software assurance, and scaling commercial organizations from early growth through acquisition and public markets.
Prior to joining RunSafe, Bob held senior executive roles at several security and technology companies, including serving as Chief Revenue Officer of Medcrypt, MergeBase (acquired by Finite State) and Cybeats, where he helped grow the company from inception to IPO on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CYBT). He was also co-founder and CEO of Valona Labs, a mobile device security company acquired by HMD Global in 2020, and has held executive leadership roles at Qualcomm, Samsung, Motorola, and Absolute.
Bob is currently serving in an elected industry role as Chair of the GSMA Device Security Group (DSG), and has continuously acted as Chair or Deputy Chair since 2019. He holds a B.S.E.E. and M.S.E.E. from Purdue University, was a Fulbright Scholar to Australia, and earned an Executive M.B.A. from Arizona State University.
