Patricia Muoio is a General Partner at SineWave Ventures. She assesses emerging technologies, mainly cybersecurity and data processing technologies, for investment worthiness and participates in fund strategy development and management processes.
Pat is a former Senior Executive at the National Security Agency. In her last role at the Agency, she served as Chief of the Trusted Systems Research Group and led research efforts on a number of cyber security technologies such as cryptography, secure wireless, secure operating systems, and cyber analytics. Prior to that she served as ODNI Science and Technology Lead for Cyber and spearheaded the work on the Federal Cybersecurity Research Plan. She also led a variety of technical activities in data processing and computing.
Pat holds a PhD from Yale University, and a BA from Fordham University, both in Philosophy.
