Bob Lyle, RunSafe Security CRO and Chair of the GSMA Device Security Group, will present at the GSMA Fraud and Security Group’s FASG#36 meeting this November, contributing to industry discussions around software supply chain security across the mobile and telecommunications ecosystem.
Recent software supply chain attacks have reinforced how difficult it can be to understand what software is running inside complex products and infrastructure, where vulnerable components are deployed, and which systems require action when new threats emerge.
Bob’s session, “Mobile & Telecom Software Supply Chain Attacks: What 2025–2026 Tells Us About the Case for SBOMs,” will examine recent attack activity and what it reveals about the role Software Bills of Materials can play in improving software visibility, vulnerability response, and supply chain risk management.
Bob will also provide an update on ongoing work within the GSMA Device Security Group (DSG), where RunSafe participates alongside other industry stakeholders working to strengthen device and software security practices.
